WEB EXCLUSIVE New Envirez 50380 polyester resin from Ashland Specialty Chemical, Composite Polymers, Dublin, Ohio, is its first pultrusion resin based on recycled PET. The high-reactivity resin is designed for fast line speeds. Ashland says customers who pultrude window lineals and other building products can use this resin to supply builders with composite products that earn credit toward points under the U.S. Building Code program for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). This resin contributes to LEED points under Materials and Resource Credits 4.1 and 4.2. (800) 523-6963 * www.ashland.com
