In July we saw higher feedstock cost, lower inventories and increasing pricing and exports in Asia. The lower pricing in the secondary market has also increased from an early July bottom. Weather disruption and scheduled maintenance for several ethylene and polyethylene plants could also have an impact soon. Suppliers will begin to push for higher prices so build inventory at July pricing to cover your needs for the next 60-90 days.
