The Plastics Shape the Future program during K 2016 (Oct. 19-26; Düsseldorf, Germany) will take place in Hall 6 and be organized by PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V. and Messe Düsseldorf. Multimedia presentations and a special booth will be used to highlight current developments and visions for the future of plastics.

According to Messe Düsseldorf, “This show will demonstrate to what extent plastics affect modern living spaces – functionally, aesthetically and sustainably,” while also addressing related economic and environmental issues, including marine litter. In addition, on the traditional “K Youth Day” of October 23, students will be on hand to present their ideas on how to shape the future of the material.
