Novel conformal cooling technology from Ritemp Pty. Ltd. in Australia is raising its profile on this continent. Mold-Masters Ltd., Georgetown, Ont., recently announced that it had obtained exclusive use of Ritemp technology for hot-runner molds (see April Starting Up). In addition, moldmaker F&S Tool, Inc., Erie, Pa., has formalized an agreement with Ritemp as a designated Technology Development Center for the medical market. Ritemp technology is said to offer much faster cycles, faster startups, and greatly reduced water and energy consumption.
