Wuhu Conch Profiles and Science Ltd. in Anhui, China, believed to be the world’s largest processor of vinyl window lineals, is now even more potent. Last year, it installed 24 twin-screw extruders from Battenfeld-Cincinnati in Austria (U.S. office in McPherson, Kans.) in diameters from 63 to 93 mm and outputs from 155 to 838 lb/hr. With this expansion, Wuhu Conch has production capacity of more than 700,000 tons per year.
