For the kind of procrastinators that require only hours to be left before a deadline before they feel the need to act, the time to move Molding 2020 to the top of your to-do list is right now. Friday Jan. 31 marks the last chance to secure Early Bird registration deals on either the full conference or single-day passes—it’s also the last chance to enter a part into the inaugural Hot Shots part competition.

Early Bird registration saves you a full $200 off the price of a full conference ticket and $100 off a single-day pass. If cost is an element in convincing your manager that you need to attend Molding 2020, that argument will become more difficult after Jan. 31.

If your company took on a challenging part recently, perhaps one other molders passed on, and you pulled it off, you can share the story of your success at the first-ever Hot Shots Parts Competition. Accepted entries will be promoted in conference materials and displayed at the event, which will include a People’s Choice election of the winner by Molding attendees. That winner will be announced in a special ceremony at the event and the winning part will be profiled online and in print in Plastics Technology magazine (an individual from the accepted part’s company will also receive complimentary registration to Molding 2020).

Molding 2020 has already sold out its exhibit space and the waiting list for speakers trying to wedge themselves into the program is growing, not shrinking. If you’re intent on attending Molding 2020—and you should be—register now and save yourself some money. As Benjamin Franklin said, “You may delay, but time will not.”
