The new facility is in Warrendale, Pa.

In the last five years, North America has gone from being the #3 global market for French robot maker Sepro to the #1 position, accounting for almost a quarter of company sales. That fact, and recent double-digit sales, prompted Sepro America, LLC to move to a new building nearly double the size of its previous space. The new facility is in Warrendale, Pa., near Pittsburgh and a little more than 10 miles from the previous location in Emsworth. The new building is 16,500 ft2 (vs. 9150 ft2 before), including much larger office space, an 800-ft2 training room with an 18-ft ceiling to accommodate large robots, and a workshop area for assembly, testing, and warehouse space. According to Jim Healy, v.p. of sales and marketing, the move will provide enhanced capabilities for customer training and application development.
