The Final Countdown

This final Plastics Technology (PT) NPE campaign promotional post starts off much like its predecessors – with a headline that likely reminds you of something specific. The first post was lyrical, the second was dialogue, the third was more dialogue, the final (hopefully) is song title. Regardless of whether you made the connection from title to a Swedish rock band that named themselves after an entire continent, the headline serves two purposes.

First, we are entering the final countdown to NPE2018: The Plastics Show.

As the show nears, we wanted to send a final reminder of what Plastics Technology is featuring at this year’s premier plastics processing event. More on that in a second.

Second, we wanted to extend a special invitation to join us in our booth (W-2513, West Hall) at NPE2018 to network and learn and, perhaps most importantly, relax and refresh. We’re dubbing our daily networking events PT ROCKS! Despite this post’s title, the happy hours are not music genre-themed, we just think that you rock and the plastics industry rocks and we want NPE visitors to join us in celebrating. If you are visiting NPE2018, please join us at Booth W-2513, West Hall, any day of the show for networking, refreshments and fun. While you are there you will notice the following also taking place in our booth.

For the third consecutive NPE, PT is highlighting the PT Solutions Network – which celebrates the people, the products and the publications that solve plastics problems.

The PT Solutions Network is highlighted by the PT Problem Solvers contest, which asks that you share photos and videos about who you are, what you do and what problems you are trying to solve. We use the term “network” because we produce several media brands that deliver information to plastics industry professionals – brands like MoldMaking Technology, CompositesWorld and Additive Manufacturing. In addition, we have two Spanish-language brands – Plastics Technology Mexico and Modern Machine Shop Mexico – that are expanding our network geographically and linguistically.

All our media brands will be on display in Booth W-2513, West Hall. And, MoldMaking Technology (S-33000) and Additive Manufacturing (S-22147) will have their own booths in the South Hall. Speaking of Additive Manufacturing, they will be debuting the 3D Printing Workshop at NPE2018 on May 9^th from 1pm – 5pm. The event is all about 3D printing for plastics processing.
