Let’s face it, producing plastics parts for the medical industry can have its challenges. Engineers and designers face demanding requirements for part quality, cost, and time to market. In this webinar we will demonstrate how to tackle these challenges using insights from Moldflow and Autodesk CFD simulation software.
Primary Topics:
- Interpreting Moldflow and CFD simulation results using medical device examples
- Implementing simulation workflows upfront to reduce risks downstream
- How flow through devices can be optimized to reduce pressure drops and maximize throughput
- Utilize DOE analysis to evaluate the sensitivity and significance of changing geometry and process variables
Presenter: Brian Pelley
Brian Pelley – is a Plastics Engineer, U-Mass @ Lowell BS, with over 30 years of experience. He has a broad range of experiences from OEMs to global custom manufacturers. This diverse background has given Brian the unique opportunity to successfully implement simulation across a wide range of industries and applications. Brian is now a Technical Specialist for Autodesk Simulation and based in Oregon. When he isn’t geeking out over simulation you can find him hiking through the old growth with his dogs and family.
