Expanding Vinyl material characterization capabilities showcasing a rigid PVC building product formulation

November 13, 2019 |

Expand the scope of existing torque rheometer equipment to gain further key indicators like the in-line extrusion viscosity and the in-line injection molded test specimen creation for various physical properties including color measurement for degradation dis-colorization for PVC formulations. The webinar will highlight the time advantages due to the direct reproducible molded color specimen and will take an in depth look at the general physical concepts of color measurement. Finally the added functionality of in- line extrusion torque rheometry with its physical concept will be showcased.

Primary Topics:

  • Rigid vinyl formulation testing possibilities
  • Introduction to in-line specimen production
  • Color measuring concepts
  • Extrusion rheology measurement concept
