Cranes for Easier, Safer Mold Changes
Globeius’ GT cranes can replace forklifts in molding facilities for easier tool changes.
Globeius (Miami, Fl.) will utilize the PTXPO (March 29-31; Donald E. Stephens Convention Center; Rosemont, Ill.) to showcase its range of GT cranes designed specifically for the injection molding industry. The hand-controlled cranes take specific issues like distance between presses, tie bar spacing, machine height and mold storage room ceiling height into consideration when they’re designed. Replacing a forklift, the GT cranes allow one operator to move and install a mold into the press using the wireless hand-held pendant control. The cranes can be designed based on the size of the molders’ machines and individual molds.
