CoMo Injection, a cavity-pressure monitoring system from Kistler Instrument Corp., Amherst, N.Y., that controls the injection process in real time, has several new enhancements. Version 2.0 software is said to control more real-time functions of a “cascade” nature, such as the opening and closing of valve gates, activated by means of a pressure signal or timed on an absolute or differential basis.

CoMo MIS, the database and web-based system for storage, visualization, and analysis of process data acquired by CoMo Injection, has a new Curve Viewer that allows access to process curves of all the saved cycles. Superimposing multiple cycle curves helps analyze changes in the process over a selected number of cycles or time period. The interface of the Curve Viewer exactly matches the current version of CoMo Injection, which is a 24-channel stand-alone system that draws data from cavity-pressure or temperature/pressure sensors. It assesses part quality on a pass/fail basis. (716) 691-5100 • www.kistler.com
