Syncro Group SRL of Italy will be displaying its Typhoon and Flyer 2.0 automatic air rings. These systems are designed to significantly reduce scrap and reduce the starting 2-sigma gauge variation by 80%. The Flyer 2.0 is said to increase both film output and properties. The firm will also introduce the Skymex noncontact capacitive gauging system, which has patented features that reportedly allows the widest range between minimum and maximum BUR.
