Cavity-pressure sensors are newly available with a hardened sensor front to resist wear in processing abrasive, highly filled or highly corrosive melts. Priamus System Technologies, Brunswick, Ohio, offers these in addition to hardened cavity-temperature sensors, which have already proved themselves in production. Longer sensor life is said to result in such demanding applications.
