Prevent melt hesitation and air entrapment.

Plastic Engineering & Technical Services, Inc. (P.E.T.S.), Auburn Hills, Mich., showed off its new EvenFlow variable-speed programmer for hot-runner valve pins at NPE2015 last month. A touchscreen controller allows individual setting of pin opening speed from 20% to 100% of full speed to prevent melt-hesitation marks, blush, or air entrapment and ensure smooth part filling. The controller reportedly works with any valve-gate system.
