‘Largest Ever’ In-Line Reciprocating-Screw Blow Molder
Uniloy introduces what it says is the first 24-cavity machine of this type.
To address growing demand for higher output in single-serve container manufacturing, Uniloy Inc. has brought out what it terms “the industry’s largest in-line cavitation reciprocating-screw blow molding system.”
This UR100 series machine has 24 in-line cavities, what Uniloy calls “groundbreaking” and an industry first. It sets a new productivity benchmark for high-volume HDPE containers, the company claims.
In 2024, Uniloy also introduced servohydraulic versions of the UR100 and other reciprocating-screw models. The 10-cavity UR100, which at the time was up from eight cavities, offered 24-40% higher throughput while using 20-35% less energy per bottle, according to the company.
