WEB EXCLUSIVE: For handles and other components that require a secure grip and improved feel, Star Thermoplastics Div. of Star Alloys & Rubbers, Inc., Broadview, Ill., has come out with “super-tacky” StarGrip-X 5000 series TPE alloys. They can be injection molded or extruded into athletic grips; handles for kitchen and garden utensils, toolboxes, luggage, and power tools; and sheets for special products. Some grades are in stock, and others can be customized in a range of 30A to 70A Shore hardness.
