At the MD&M show in Anaheim in January, Zumbach Electronics Corp., Mt. Kisco, N.Y., exhibited an upgrade to Smart Wall software that allows the ultrasonic OD/ID measuring system for tubing to tune itself automatically for product changes. Smart Wall previously required a lot of expert operator input for set-up and thus was practical only for long runs. Zumbach also showed its new digitally controlled SPV 30 airbox, which inflates medical tube via the die and has very fast reaction time to support complex multi-lumen and bump tubes. Also new is a tiny Nano Industrial Processor (4.5 in. square) that clamps on the back of a display screen to create a monitoring system. (914) 241-7080 • www.zumbach.com
