MetalRustGuard, Gardena, Calif., will introduce its new product for mold rust prevention at NPE2105 this month in Orlando. MetalRustGard is a self-adhesive wrap that protects against moisture and corrosion. It is said to be FDA-approved and to contain no harmful VOCs. The product consists of a hydrophobic polypropylene wrap that prevents water-vapor transmission and is impregnated with food-grade waxes and oils to prevent condensation from forming on metal as temperatures change during shipping or storage. An all-purpose cleaner removes any wax residue. This product will be displayed in the booth of DMS, Oldcastle, Ont.
