Two New Products Expand Single-Dose Line of Purging Agents
iD Additives expands QuickShots line.
iD Additives, Inc. is showcasing two new single-dose purge compounds that come in individual packets—expanding its original QuickShots liquid-in-pouch product line. These compounds allow operators to purge their equipment by simply dropping the packets into the machine’s feed throat/hopper. The product reportedly works with all resin types on all plastics machinery processes. New QuickShots HD (heavy duty) has glass prills mixed in for extra cleaning strength, and SP (pellets in a pouch) includes an extra small ½ oz. version, ideal for lab lines and small runs.
iD Additives is selling the QuickShots purge compounds in 1-ounce packets (boxes of 50) and 3-ounce packets (boxes of 24). Free samples are available by contacting the company.
