Underwater Pelletizer for Color Masterbatches

Austria-based ECON will present its underwater pelletizer at PTXPO 2023. It is specifically designed to work with color masterbatches. The machine offers straightforward accessibility, enabling fast and efficient material changeover. All important materials can be cleaned in less than 20 minutes, contributing to the equipment’s high uptime availability. By preventing sedimentation, output is high quality and lump-free.

ECON will also present its drum filter (EDF), which ensures continuous and automatic filtration of process water. The filtration technology achieves a high level of filtration down to 2 thousandths (55 um). The system is self-cleaning and maintenance-free, with fully automated operation. No additional process water and no fleece are required.
