The Brand New CM-26dG Spectrophotometer and Gloss Meter

The CM-26dG spectrophotometer is the next generation of portable sphere spectrophotometer with an integrated 60-degree gloss sensor allowing distinct color and appearance measurements within one instrument. CM-26dG spectrophotometer horizontal alignment can fit into narrow spaces and is convenient for high-precision color and gloss measurement of smooth or textured samples.

With its lightweight ergonomic design gives easy operation to both right or left-handed users, with the optional Bluetooth™ and high-resolution TFT color display, the CM-26dG spectrophotometer is perfectly suited for applications in the field.

The CM-26dG portable spectrophotometer offers unprecedented accuracy/inter-instrument agreement (IIA), usually reserved for laboratory-grade instrumentation. This precision will allow superior color communication throughout the supply chain from supplier to final assembly. The inter-instrument agreement of the chromaticity value (average for 12 BCRA color tiles) is within ΔE 0.12 for the CM-26dG spectrophotometer, an improvement of about 40% from previous models.

The CM-26dG spectrophotometer can switch between Ø8mm and Ø3mm measurement areas for measuring parts of different sizes. In addition, the CM-26dG spectrophotometer is equipped with an illuminated viewfinder for accurate positioning on patterned subjects or small parts. The instrument surfaces, which come in contact with the measurement subject, are designed to minimize subject damage giving repeatable results.

The CM-26dG spectrophotometer offers additional features to improve workflow, eliminate waste/rework, and offer customers general cost savings on color related processes.

A Message from Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc.

The Standard in Measuring Color

Derived from our state-of-the-art optical and image processing technologies, Konica Minolta Sensing’s measurement instruments help improve quality control and precision in a wide variety of applications.Color is an important element in the plastics industry, whether it’s to meet quality standards, enhance the appearance of a product, or match other materials in a product.

The CM-700d: The perfect fit for quality control inspections, and process control procedures.

The high precision, reliable CM-700d spectrophotometer allows users to evaluate, reproduce, and control the color of pigments and dyes in a more effective, streamlined process.

The CM-5: An easy-to-use, all-in-one, standalone Benchtop Spectrophotometer

The CM-5 allows users to analyze, formulate, and control the color and appearance of solids, powders, and granules in a comprehensive, streamlined process.

As Seen In Plastics Technology

Quantifying the Appearance of Plastics
Gloss, reflection haze, and transmission haze are three of the most prevalent effects on the appearance of plastics. With the help of multifunctional tools like gloss meters and spectrophotometers manufacturers can measure these visual affects to ensure the integrity of a products appearance from start to end.
