New Product Compounds Incorporate Post Consumer Recycled Content
LyondellBasell announced the addition of eight new grades to CirculenRecover, its portfolio of mechanically recycled PP and PE.
New grades are available now in North America.
LyondellBasell announced the launch of eight new product compounds under the CirculenRecover portfolio, aimed at customers looking to increase recycled content in their products.
The CirculenRecover brand includes polypropylene and polyethylene products containing up to 100 percent post-consumer resin that are designed to meet the performance requirements of many common applications.
Now available in North America, these new compounds in the CirculenRecover portfolio offer single-pellet solutions across a range of PCR levels. According to the company, they are particularly well suited for industrial and food packaging applications including consumer rigid and flexible packaging such as caps, closures, crates, bottles or film.
The new solutions are part of the broader Circulen product portfolio announced by the company in 2021. LyondellBasell has set a company goal of producing and marketing at least two million metric tons of recycled and renewable-based polymers annually by 2030.
The new LyondellBasell CirculenRecover grades are currently available in North America and in Europe.
