Strategies and Technologies for Molding Tight-Tolerance Medical Parts

September 21, 2023 |

This presentation explores an integrated approach to injection molding, in considering factors like material selection, screw design, machine type and design, part and runner design, mold manufacturing and more.

By combining advanced tooling and molding technologies, this approach ensures superior part quality, shorter lead times, and reduced production and procurement costs. Collaboration among part designers, hot runner designers, mold designers, machine manufacturers and engineers allows for comprehensive and robust solutions. Additionally, advanced tooling and molding technologies are highlighted, leading to improved part quality and minimized scrap rates.

Agenda:

  • Superior quality through combining advanced tooling and molding technologies
  • Improved part quality and minimized scrap through integrated systems and data monitoring
  • Smart solutions for better quality and easier operations
