New Technology Focuses On Higher Quality In Plastics Recycling
Erema’s Intarema T 1108 is live at Booth W1249, processing clean LDPE production waste direct and without pre-shredding to make high-quality regrind.
Erema North America, Booth W1249, is showcasing an Intarema T 1108 live at the booth, processing clean LDPE production waste direct and without pre-shredding to make high-quality regrind. The company is also providing details on the reported world's first R-PET inline preform system at its booth. SIPA, a manufacturer of PET packaging solutions from Italy (U.S. office SIPA North America, Atlanta), joined forces with Erema to develop a flexible, direct processing solution to make food-contact-compliant preforms from recycled PET flakes—in a continuous process. Erema says that for PET processors, the system has both economic and ecological benefits: energy savings, lower logistics and processing costs, and higher profitability. The inline preform system is in full line with the global trend of processing post-consumer PET flakes direct to make sheet, strapping or end products.
Also Erema’s new business unit, Powerfil, which is responsible for the company’s filtration products, is here at NPE for the first time. The filter systems are now also available as individual components for extrusion lines from other suppliers.
