NPE2024: 10 Things to Do in Orlando
Orlando has a variety of attractions and experiences on offer for those who want to do some sight seeing during NPE2024.
Orlando is known as a hub of tourism for its many theme parks and attractions. While you’re at NPE2024, you might not have the time to spend a day at Disney World or Universal Studios, but here are some places where you might spend an enjoyable evening.
1. Icon Park
With 20 acres of attractions to explore, ICON Park is the perfect place to take in the sights. Enjoy the park’s numerous bars and dining options, peruse shops and kiosks, and experience the Orlando skyline from the top of its 400-foot-tall observation wheel.
2. West Orange Trail
Enjoy over 20 miles of paved multiuse walking and cycling paths at the West Orange Trail. Open from sunrise to sunset, the trail is a great place to slow down and appreciate the beauty of nature. Park at the Tildenville Outpost to visit the trail’s butterfly garden.
3. Disney Springs
Stroll through Disney Springs along the edge of Lake Buena Vista. Shop from your favorite brands and choose from a variety of entertainment and themed dining experiences — Disney Springs has over 100 unique offerings to explore.
4. Drive Shack
Put your golf driving skills to the test in the Drive Shack’s state-of-the-art facility where you can track your ball’s speed, flight and launch angle in real time. Book a private bay for up to six people and enjoy an evening of competition and camaraderie over drinks or dinner.
5. Enzian Theater
Catch a movie at the Enzian Theater — Orlando’s only alternative cinema. Enjoy a unique experience watching a showing of an independent, foreign or classic film. Plus, relax at the theater’s outdoor Eden Bar before or after your movie.
6. Lake Eola Park
Lake Eola Park is a serene oasis in downtown Orlando. Walk the 0.9-mile loop around the park’s picturesque lake, surrounded by the city's skyline and witness the lake’s middle fountain which is beautifully lit up at night. Plus, enjoy the variety of dining and nightlife offerings located just outside the park.
7. Universal Citywalk

8. SAK Comedy Lab
Have a laugh at the SAK Comedy Lab. During each performance, the Lab’s ensemble of professional improv actors take suggestions from the audience and make up characters, scenes and songs on the spot. Catch their signature show, “Duel of Fools,” on Friday.
9. Kings Dining & Entertainment
