Clariant Opens Rotomolding Lab
A full-scale rotomolding machine will help with application-specific color matching.
Clariant, Charlotte, N.C., has just opened a new rotational molding laboratory and prototype development cell at its Toronto facility. It is designed to replicate production conditions at leading rotomolders, providing customers with prototypes of colormatched, multi-textured products in just five to seven days. A rotomolding machine with a gas-heated oven will facilitate rapid development of rotomolded parts, allowing customers to collaborate with Clariant technicians to test colorants and formulations across a range of surface structures and textures and wall thicknesses.
