Xaloy Invests in New R&D Center
Xaloy is investing in a new R&D Facility for plasticizing equipment in northeast Ohio with aid from JobsOhio R&D Center Grant.
Xaloy LLC announced plans to establish a new R&D Center in Austintown, Ohio with the aid of a JobsOhio R&D Center Grant. The Innovation Center will feature facilities and equipment for research, product and process development. Part of the product and process development R&D will include plasticizing equipment to promote the reuse and recycling of polymers, as well as application of newly engineered resins and bio polymers. Additionally, it will develop processing technologies that lower energy utilization, material consumption and carbon footprint.
The R&D Center Grant Program was created to facilitate new strategic corporate R&D centers in Ohio that are within JobsOhio’s targeted industries. This is the first R&D Center Grant awarded in the Mahoning Valley.
