Amide Waxes Acrawax® C is the industry standard for ABC, PVC, polyacetal, polyester, polyamide and other plastic materials. It provides exceptional balance between internal and external lubricity. Also, Glycolube® VL is used in polyurethanes and transparent PVC applications. Specialty Esters Glycolube® esters are used as antistats, antifogs, lubricants and mold release agents in a variety of plastics from polycarbonate to polypropylene. Sorbitan Esters Lonza's Glycomul® and Lonzest® sorbitan esters are used in antistat and antifog formulations for PVC and polyethylene bottles and film. They are also used as pigment dispersion aides for both liquid and powder color systems. Ethoxylated Sorbitan Esters Glycosperse® and Lonzest® ethoxylated sorbitan esters are widely used as antistats and antifogs in PVC and film applications. Lonza is also a leading producer of polyethylene glycol esters (Pegosperse®), polyglycerol esters (Polyaldo®) and ethoxylated hydantoin esters (Dantosperse®). Polymer-related applications include internally added lubricants and antifogs, and textile fiber lubrication.

Fatty-based, internal and external lubricants mostly used at low levels (around 0.5-2 phr). Many approved for food-contact applications.

Bisamide waxes include Acrawax C, Glycolubes, and Glyconol for extruding and molding PVC, ABS, PUR, nylons, and other engineering thermoplastics. Glycolube line has applications as internal/external lubricants, mold releases, antifogs and antistats for many polymers.

Proprietary products such as Glycolube P and TS suggested for engineering resins and polymer alloys. Glycolube PG and Vinylubes used in PVC bottles, sheets, and profiles when clarity and throughput are critical.
Release Agents--Internal (Additive Type)

Acrawax C ethylene bis-stearamide wax additive in a range of particle sizes, including a dispersion grade. Product provides an exceptional balance between internal and external lubricity, as well as release properties.

Also Glycolube esters (ranging from glycerol monostearates and oleates to pentaerythritol tetra-stearate) as internal lubricants and mold-release agents.
