Color and additives masterbatch supplier Techmer PM, Clinton, Tenn., has expanded its engineering thermoplastics portfolio with the acquisition of custom compounder TP Composites, Ashton, Pa.
Color and additives masterbatch supplier Techmer PM, Clinton, Tenn., has expanded its engineering thermoplastics portfolio with the acquisition of custom compounder TP Composites, Ashton, Pa. Now a part of Techmer Engineered Solutions (TES) business unit, TP Composites boasts a broad portfolio of resins, from PP to PEEK. “TP Composites is a great fit for our engineering compounds business, which we continue to develop with our long-time partner Mitsui Plastics,” said John Manuck, Techmer’s chairman and CEO. Techmer launched a joint venture that became TES in 2004 when it aimed to expand beyond its traditional masterbatch business into the engineered plastics compound market.
