Feeding Improvements - Understanding How Real Time Conditions Effect Feeder Performance

April 11, 2019 |

Presented By:

Most processes have fillers and additives being fed into an extruder or downstream process. Many variables affect the feeding of these materials outside just the material properties.

The presentation will provide an understanding of these materials and what effect they have on feeding. The presentation will also look at several variables that affect the flow of these materials and methods in which to optimize the flow.

The presentation will be suited for project managers, process engineers, purchasing agents and plant managers that are looking to improve both the flowability and increased feedrate of these materials and how they affect the accuracy of the process.

Primary Topics:
- Understanding fillers and additives in relation to feeding
- How to properly feed fillers and additives
- What environmental factors affect the feeding of these materials
- What process variables affect the feeding of these materials
- How to effectively optimize the process to improve the feed of these materials

Presenter: Drew Turner
