Gardner Business Media’s (GBM) Plastics Technology (PT), the official media partner of NPE2024, is showcasing the many ways it covers the plastics processing industry at its “Covered in Plastics Technology” booth in the West Hall.

The booth features four brand resource centers where attendees have the opportunity to learn about PT and other GBM brands, and their dedication to practical and solutions-based reporting in every medium — print, online, in-person and on-the-go — as well as the topics they work together to cover, including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, materials, recycling and more. Along with this, attendees can pick up complimentary copies of all GBM’s latest issues and easily start or renew their free GBM media subscriptions.

The booth also gives attendees the opportunity to literally cover themselves in the latest issue of Plastics Technology by taking a picture inside the oversized magazine cover photo booth. And, for the chance to win a PT-themed pickleball set, attendees can enter the #COVEREDinPT giveaway by posting a photo of themselves in the cover photo booth or on the NPE2024 show floor, using #COVEREDinPT, and following and tagging PT on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or X.

Above all else, PT endeavors to serve its audience at NPE2024. Says Dave Necessary, GBM’s executive vice president of development marketing, “Our primary objective is always audience first. By that, we want to serve our audience by making it easy and accessible to receive the information they need to do their job better. We also want visitors to have fun, see something unique and walk away confident that Plastics Technology is their partner in plastics processing.”

To this end, PT also recognizes the importance of NPE as a touchstone of the industry where leaders and innovators gather. According to Jim Callari, editorial director for Plastics Technology, “NPE is a vital trade show for the plastics processing industry. As such, our prominent display — as a publication serving plastics processors for 70 years — is critical to support our mission to provide our audience with best practices to help them run their plants more efficiently. Our readers are leaders, and we look forward to helping them lead for at least the next 70 years.”

GBM publications Additive Manufacturing (AM) and MoldMaking Technology (MMT) also have booths of their own at NPE2024. Attendees can find them in the Advanced Manufacturing Zone and the Moldmaking Zone, respectively. Like the PT booth, the AM and MMT booths feature media resource centers highlighting all the GBM brands that cover the plastics industry.

AM’s booth highlights solutions for printing functional end-use plastic parts using 3D printing technology by way of a display of unique parts presented in AM’s “The Cool Parts Show.” The booth also highlights the 3D Printing Workshop for Plastics Processors taking place at NPE2024, of which AM is a part.

MMT’s booth highlights the brand’s Leadtime Leader Award, which is awarded yearly and honors North American mold builders who have shown excellence in their craft. The booth also promotes MMT’s video series, “MMT Chats” which feature brief discussions with moldmaking professionals about emerging technologies and industry trends.

PT, AM and MMT invite their readers and all NPE2024 attendees to check out all of the GBM brand booths at the show. See you there!
