Purgex Purging Compounds Celebrates Founder's Induction to Plastics Hall of Fame and Holds Technical Seminars

This is an exciting year for Purgex Purging Compounds as it is celebrating the induction of its founder, Arthur P. Haag, into the Plastics Hall of Fame. Haag developed Purgex Purging Compounds in 1992 and the company has grown to be a global leader in the industry, optimizing purging processes for over 30 years. Neutrex Inc. manufactures Purgex Purging Compounds in Houston, Texas, and Purgex is distributed in over 40 countries.
The Purgex team is hosting technical seminars Monday through Thursday at the company’s main NPE booth (W1871), featuring injection molding expert John Bozzelli and Purgex’s own technical expert Oliver Murphy, Ph.D. Bozzelli is covering topics such as the Minimization of Degradation/Black Specks and Melt Uniformity. Murphy is discussing aspects of Purging and Cleaning with Commercial Purging Compounds, Deriving Maximum Benefits from Commercial Purging Compounds, and will be presenting for the first time, the Recyclability of Purgex Purging Compounds.

The Purgex team is pleased to announce that Purgex Purging Compounds can be recycled at up to 5% weight of Purgex regrind when mixed with virgin resin material. For several decades, Purgex has helped customers reduce the amount of plastic scrap created when cleaning injection, extrusion, and blow molding equipment.
