Maguire System Unifies Blending, Feeding, Conveying and Extrusion Control
Control of gravimetric blenders, feeders, conveying and even extrusion in a single, streamlined system.
Maguire Products unveiled what it calls a more powerful version of its Fusion control package at K 2025. The newest iteration is described as an advanced integration platform that unites gravimetric blenders, feeders, conveying, and, when required, extrusion control into a single, streamlined system, managed from one, intuitive touchscreen interface.
According to Maguire, this inclusive control package streamlines operations, enhances accuracy and delivers measurable efficiency gains.

At the show, a live system at Maguire’s booth showed:
• FlexBus Lite conveying control: Managing a 1 hp vacuum pump, capable of controlling up to 12 receivers.
• Clear-Vu receivers: Two, 5-lb Clear-Vu receivers were mounted on the blender, and two 4-lb Clear-Vu receivers were placed on feeders, enabling operators to confirm material flow visually.
• Extrusion integration: Stabilizing output, minimizing scrap and providing precise real-time control of throughput or weight-per-length.
Maguire says Fusion can be installed above feeders on the throat, on floor stands, beside the process or on mezzanines above the line to maintain precise control of colors and additives. This modular design provides processors with greater flexibility in plant layout, while ensuring seamless recipe management and materials tracking through a centrally located 10.4” touchscreen.
Advantages of the system include one touchscreen for all functions; flexible retrofit capability; intuitive operation and built-in connectivity, according to Maguire.
