New Range of Adiabatic Coolers
Frigel says its new LDK adiabatic cooler range represents the first step on the path to extending its proven Ecodry platform.

Frigel has introduced the new LDK range of adiabatic coolers, featuring a modular design that covers a capacity range from 400 to 2800 kW, or up to 1.8 mW in a single dry cooler. The company claims the range can provide up to a 95% reduction in water consumption, 80% reduction in maintenance and operating costs, and 100% clean water to process with no aerosols or plumes.
The company says the LDK’s CoolPad equipment system reportedly eliminates corrosion, scaling and bacteria. In terms of water consumption, the Ecodry LDK series and CoolPad can reduce or eliminate water consumption, with the adiabatic mode only activated when ambient conditions call for it. Frigel has positioned its adiabatic cooling as an opportunity for “technology conversion”, away from traditional energy-intensive cooling towers.
