Wittmann Battenfeld Expands Training Team
Injection machinery expert arrives from Austria.
Wittmann Battenfeld has added to its training capabilities at its North American headquarters in Torrington, Conn. A new member of the staff there is Christian Glueck, the new technical center manager and trainer, who relocated from Wittmann Austria. He has more than 25 years’ experience and will be devoted 100% to customer training on Wittmann Battenfeld’s injection molding systems. The Torrington tech center also has two persons dedicated 100% to training for auxiliary equipment, and others who participate in training as part of their duties. Additional training personnel are available at Wittmann’s tech centers in Chicago and Corona, Calif.
Since Glueck’s arrival, Wittmann Battenfeld has increased the number of training sessions in Torrington, and Glueck also conducted the company’s first injection machine training class at its West Coast tech center. “We have seen a fantastic amount of growth in our IMM base in the U.S.,” says Markus Klaus, IMM Division manager for Wittmann Battenfeld. “We commit to our customers getting everything they need when they purchase a product, including training and increased human capital.”
