Nominations Open for 2023 Mold Maker, Designer and Repair of Person of the Year Awards
SPE Mold Technologies Division is seeking potential nominees for its three annual awards, which will be presented at this year’s PTXPO event. Nomination deadline is Feb. 28.
The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Mold Technologies Division is seeking nominations for three annual awards. Each year the Mold Technologies Division presents awards for the Mold Maker and Mold Designer of the Year. (see last year’s award winners). This year, they are also presenting a Mold Repair Person of the Year award. The presentation will take place at the PTXPO in Rosemont, Illinois, from March 28-30, 2023.
The awards are sponsored by:
- Mold Maker of the Year: Hasco Internorm – USA
- Mold Designer of the Year: Progressive Components Inc.
- Mold Repair Person of the Year: MoldTrax LLC
The awards include a stipend presented to the plastics/moldmaking program of the recipient’s choice in their name and that of the sponsoring company.
To be considered for these awards the nominees should be:
- Active or have been active in the moldmaking design or repair industry;
- Have a reputation of fair and honest business dealings;
- Have made a contribution either to the industry or to society at large.
Nominations are required by Feb. 28, 2023 for consideration. They should be in the form of a short (one-page) business biography, in addition to a photo of the nominee and his/her contact information.
