Large Underwater Pelletizer Debuts
MAAG Group presented a larger Pearlo underwater pelletizer.
The MAAG group presented a scaled model of a new underwater pelletizer, the Pearlo XXL by Gala, at K Show 2022. The latest addition to the series offers a capacity of over 40 ton/hr.
Docking and startup are automated at the push of a button. The system keeps pellet size uniform and controls residence time by managing water flow from one of the two inlet streams. The system also maximizes blade life and reduces downtime by position adjustment and flexible joint cutter head.
