Chase Plastics is showcasing the breadth of its portfolio and its focus on customer service at NPE 2024. “I would put our line card in engineering and specialty engineering thermoplastics up against any that is available,” says Adam Paulson, president at Chase Plastics. Chase has particularly seen growth in health care applications as well as automotive, Chase’s largest business, where electrification is creating new opportunities for plastics in lightweighting and material substitution.

“I think we are going to find that the biggest buzz word at the NPE show is going to be sustainability,” Paulson says. Health care is a rapidly growing sector for Chase, and the company sees advanced or chemical recycling as the key to this space. “These offerings enable a sustainable, recycled product, even at very high-end applications that are very regulated, such as the health care industry,” Paulson says. The company announced its own sustainable product line card, CP Pryme Eco, last fall, which includes both recycled and bio-derived material and will be the topic of a discussion panel at the booth.

The product lines distributed by Chase represent over 32 years of building relationships, which has informed Chase’s approach to planning its 2024 exhibition, intended to underscore customer experience rather than any individual product. Prospective partners will find a two-story booth laid out to facilitate conversations, with a VIP lounge and conference room to facilitate those conversations best held away from the bustle of the show floor. And visitors are expected to be numerous. Chase reports that 938 attendees have used their preregistration code as of March 18. Sales staff and technical service engineers will be on hand to answer questions. “We don’t want anyone to walk away with a question still on their mind, we want to answer that on the spot and provide that value right there at the show,” says Sherry Cudd, Chase Plastics advertising and marketing manager.

Cudd credits the high preregistration activity to an early start getting the word out about their booth. Chase has been promoting its booth since its selection in February with a page on its website and a retro-inspired game show theme. The company will be hosting Plinko games at the booth as a fun way to break the ice.
