LS Mtron Consolidates Service Groups, Names Service Manager

The Korean maker of injection molding machines formally merged the US Plastics Machinery Business of DJA, which it acquired in 2021, and promoted Bradd Harried to customer service manager.

Following its acquisition of the US Plastics Machinery Business of DJA in 2021 and the opening of three new U.S. facilties in June 2022, LS Mtron Injection Molding Machines has announced the promotion of Bradd Harried to customer service manager for North America.

In a press release, the company said this announcement marks its formal merging of the former DJA service group and LS Mtron USA service groups. The new operating group will have shared customer service platforms, accounting and organizational resources.

Previously, Harried held the position of technical service manager for LS Mtron, having worked for the company since September 2021. Before joining LS Mtron, Harried held positions in customer service for Husky, Milacron and Niigon Machinery.

Peter Gardner, business director of LS Mtron Injection Molding Machines USA, stated in the release that the company will continue to build its North American service department, with plans to hire additional staff. Gardner noted that the company’s service teams are geographically dispersed, with many working from its formal locations in Chicago, Atlanta, San Diego and Brownsville, Texas. In addition, there are service members working remotely in locations including Anaheim, Toronto, Michigan and New Hampshire, as well as Queretaro and Monterrey in Mexico. Harried is based at LS Mtron’s Chicago Tech Center.
