Enhanced Metallic Special Effects Masterbatches for Injection Molded HDPE and PP Products
Ampacet’s new Galaxy Collection features a range of dramatic effects in multiple color pathways.
A new series of special effects colorants for HDPE and PP from Ampacet is said to reflect a new positioning of metallics that lack traditional boundaries, according to Ampacet director of global insight and innovation Linda Carroll. “As we look to the future, we find our thoughts less tethered to earth but extending into the untapped galactic universe. Mimicking naturally-occurring structural color, this collection embodies light-refracting clusters and extra-terrestrial patterns.”
The explosive colors of Big Bang, Milky Way, Cosmos Cloud, Copper Corona, Galactic Halo and Dark Matter are expressed in the new Galaxy Collection series of color masterbatches. Ampacet is targeting them to markets where unique differentiation drives product sales for injection molded parts, from household goods to automotive components to packaging.
