Fakuma: Temperature Controller Targets High-Temperature Applications
Wittmann Battenfeld is extending its Tempro plus line of temperature controllers with the D200 model for temperatures up to 200C (392F).
At Fakuma (Oct. 12-16; Friedrichshafen, Germany; Hall B1, Booth No. 1204), Wittmann Battenfeld will introduce the Tempro plus D200 for high-temperature applications, building off the market launch of the Tempro plus D100 at K 2019. The new Tempro plus D200 model supports temperatures up to 200C (392F), as well as the subsequent higher pressures, according to Wittmann.
The company acknowledges that the high water temperatures, and resulting high pressure levels, place heavy demands on the wear resistance of molds and mechanical components, something that Wittmann says it kept in mind during the development of Tempro plus D200. The units, which features single- and dual-zone models, are open systems featuring powerful, submersible pumps without pump seals.
Wittmann’s Tempro plus D200 can be used for temperatures up to 392F.
