Bole Machinery Open House Promotes Machine Efficiency
Energy efficiency was the focus of Bole Machinery’s Sept. 14 customer open house at its U.S. headquarters in Stow, Ohio.
Injection molding machines on display included the Servo-Hydraulic EKS series with clamp tonnages ranging from 100 to 4000 tons; the all-electric FE Series offering clamp forces from 100 to 500 tons; and the two-platen DK Series with tonnages from 520 to 7500 tons.
According to Rich Riddle, president and CEO of Bole Machinery, a customer located in the Mid-Atlantic region realized a 75% reduction in kWh usage with the servo-hydraulic EKS press.
Bole machines utilizes a central toggle clamping systems that its says provides 100% locking force to the mold and removes tiebar bushings on the EKS and FE series. The two-platen DK series features linear guide rails that Bole says aid in positioning accuracy while reducing energy usage.
Riddle says Bole Machinery keeps 25 to 30 machines ranging in clamp force from 100 to 1100 tons in stock along with spare parts in the 20,000-ft2 facility, which also provides assembly and customer trials. Bole employs a technical service team across the U.S.
Bole Intelligent Machinery Co. Ltd. General Manager Richard Wang noted the machines are designed and engineered in Germany. The company was established in Ningbo, China in 1998 and ships 350 machines globally per month.
Bole’s DK series of two-platen injection molding machines was among the lines showcased during the company’s September Open House in Stow, Ohio.
